I began writing when in middle school. In high school and college, I wrote for the school newspaper. My senior year, I was the Editor. I also during that time wrote feature articles for the local newspaper in my hometown. Why I didn’t continue into journalism or creative writing is still a mystery. I continued to write short stories, some even getting published in small magazines.

Eventually, I went into law enforcement. It is a career that provides me with lots of plots and storylines for the fiction I write today. Now retired, I live in Florida with my horses and cats.
